Opening an Investment Account
iPAS is the WV State Treasurer's Office I
- iPAS allows local governments with Board of Treasury Investment accounts to view account balances in real-time, review and print account statements, and request account transactions on-line.
- To apply for iPAS, complete the second page of the Local Government Account Request Form and iPAS Application. Each user will receive a User ID, a Password, and an instruction manual.
- The Treasurer’s Office must be notified immediately of any changes in personnel authorized to access iPAS. Please complete and submit the iPAS User Update form to request changes to user profiles.
Requesting Investment Account Transactions
The WV Money Market and WV Government Money Market Pools allow daily contributions and withdrawals. Activity for the WV Short Term Bond Pool is processed on the first working day of each month. Please contact Participant Accounting for specific Short Term Bond Pool instructions.
The most efficient way to request account transactions is through iPAS. If you are unable to use iPAS, Deposit, Withdrawal, and Transfer forms are available. Complete the form, and fax it to 304 340-1507.
Regardless of the method used, the deadline for same-day processing is 9:00 a.m. Requests received after 9:00 a.m. will be held until the following business day.
iPAS users may view and print account statements whenever needed; otherwise a statement for each account is mailed after the close of each month.
